It is a time to get away from my problems” -veteran student Veteran Farm Training Continues In February, TALMAR FARM and the Veterans Administration collaborated to offer veterans with mental health challenges an opportunity to receive training in sustainable agriculture. The first group of student veterans graduated from the 14-week beginning farmer training and ten veterans from that group chose to continue their training through the fall. We welcomed the second class in June. Their training includes other career fields in horticulture, including floriculture, landscaping
