Through our memberships, we are able to support and strengthen our small farm. Your pre-season dollars helps us purchase seed and supplies for the coming season and sustain a lasting partnership between farm and community.
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) is all about creating a mutually beneficial relationship between growers and their local communities. TALMAR offers either full shares or half shares of fresh vegetables for pick up each week during the season. Full shares (7-9 items) Half Shares (4-6 items). Our produce CSA 20-week enrollment begins each year around the first week in June and ends in mid-October.
Registration for our 2019 CSA will open on our website in February.
Community-Supported Flowers (CSF) is all about creating a mutually beneficial relationship between local fresh-cut blooms and our community. Our CSF 15 week enrollment begins each year around the middle of June and ends in September.
Registration for our 2019 CSF will open on our website in February.
VOLUNTEERS ARE OUR GREATEST ASSET! As a volunteer you can assume meaningful and productive roles in all levels of the organization and are a valuable resource to TALMAR, its staff and its participants. Volunteers play an essential role in promoting participant successes.
- We have a dedicated team of volunteers that contribute their time and talents to various programs at TALMAR.
- We thrive on the compassionate service of our volunteers and we are always trying to recruit resourceful, energetic individuals and groups to help our participants become more successful.
- TALMAR’s programs are diverse, thus requiring volunteers who have talents specific to each program.
Please complete the volunteer application, scan and email it to email@example.com. Baltimore County also requires a background check that needs to be completed. Our office will call you to confirm your application and advise you of our current opportunities.
