All of our proceeds go to our non-profit farm to sustain our programs for individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, autism, multiple sclerosis, stroke survivors, cerebral palsy and more. With your donation, you can help us continue providing horticultural therapy in our  veterans-to-farmer’s training, and in our educational programs for individuals with special needs.

WHAT: Learn easy and effective ways for constructing “raised beds” in your backyard, garden, or farm!

WHY: Is your soil preventing you from an ideal garden? Our workshop teaches you how to build raised beds to enable a garden perfect for harvesting!

We will together construct beds, based from designs submitted from students in our Sustainable Agriculture class. Bring a hammer, if you choose.  Well supply the wood, nails, landscape cloth and soil!

WHEN: Saturday. June 3rd, 2017  11:00 am – 2:00 p.m. (Note, This project may extend past the allotted time.  should you elect to stay, GREAT!

WHERE: TALMAR’s Farm Lab field

WHO: All ages (recommended mainly for adults because of construction purposes)
