CHAIRMAN:  McNally, Charles “Clay”. Graduated from the University of Maryland, University College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He joined Synergy Financial Group in 2011 as a Financial Consultant specializing in the areas of Disability and Long-Term Care Insurance. He has had a 20-year career in business and estate planning, retirement planning, wealth-distribution, and charitable giving strategies. He is a supporter of local businesses in Baltimore and was the founding member and past president of the Downtown Towson Rotary Club.

Anft, Michael. An award-winning journalist, script writer and educator. He has been a professional writer for 35-years. An unabashed journalist, he has handled beats ranging from City Hall to research science to sports to theater and has attained the profile of a nationally respected magazine writer.

Free-lance writer and contributing editor for several publications and websites, including AARP The Magazine, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Esquire, and Johns Hopkins Magazine, Kaiser Health News,, Style, PressBox, and the Urbanite.

Gervais, Joshua. Certified educator with a Masters of Education in Transitional Services from the Johns Hopkins University. A leader in the field of Special Education where he pioneered programs of Comprehensive Occupational Training and self-determination for students with developmental disabilities. Recently retired as Transition Coordinator from St Elizabeth’s School in Baltimore, Maryland. Shared his expertise with Shafallah Centre for Students with special needs in Qatar as well as with non-public schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New York State.

Hall, Lynne. Strategic Development, Managing Partner of Management Counsel, LLC & LTD, a professional services farm headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Prior to founding Management Counsel, Lynne served as a senior executive with Fortune Top Ten domestic and international corporations; received a Fulbright Fellowship, authored a number of books and peer reviewed journal articles on a variety of topics including corporate social responsibility, strategic management, and ethical dispute resolution.

Mangle, Andrew, Ph.D. is supporting the global demand for Information Technology (IT) professionals providing expertise advising the military, public and private industry, and the community on cyber security and IT challenges. Dr. Mangle has been part of the higher education community since 2007. He has taught and developed courses for face-to-face, hybrid, and online instruction. He has created Quality Matters Approved Courses and serves as a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer for online courses. He is a 2014 graduate of the Earl G.Graves School of Business and Management (SBM) Information Science and Systems.

O’Brien, William, J. Rev. retired from the Archdiocese of Baltimore in January 2016. He has served as associate pastor at St Joseph, Fullerton, St Anthony, Gardenville and St. Lawrence, Woodlawn, and as Pastor of Saint Patrick, Havre de Grace, where he was responsible for the design and construction of the parish hall He served as the catholic Chaplain at the University of Maryland hospital from 1985 until 1998, then briefly at Good Samaritan Hospital and at Franklin Sqauare Hospital. He is currently serving as chaplain. Notre Dame of Maryland University. He served for many years on the Chesapeake Research Review Board as an ethicist. His ethics background was from Georgetown University in Washington DC and the Catholic University of Nejmegen, The Netherlands.

Walker, Charles. Is Senior Vice President and Certified Financial Planner with SunTrust Bank in the Private Wealth Management Group. Charles has over 20-years experience in banking and is a current Advisory Board member for the DeVito Family Trust. He has extensive experience developing financial plans with companies and individuals to fulfill philanthropic interests. He is a former volunteer coach for Baltimore Stars Youth Hockey Club.
